Kiki Sloppysocks: Paranoid Paranormal Investigator

A High-octane action-adventure toon series targeting kids six to 11, with a healthy dose of mischievous humor, thrills, chills, and suspense. There are strong characters with distinct personalities, creepy locales, good vs. evil, speed, and noise!

Most people don’t believe in things like U.F.O.s, ghosts, monsters, unexplained phenomenon, and the like. But Kiki Sloppysocks is not like most people. He believes wholeheartedly in the paranormal and has made it his life’s quest to investigate and prove to the world that they are not only real but they exist all around us. Kiki’s search for the truth takes him to the four corners of the world. Places like the Pacific Northwest in search of Bigfoot, Loch Ness, Area 51, the Bermuda Triangle, Stone Henge, and the jungles of South America for the Chupacabras. Unfortunately for Kiki, try as he may, any proof that he obtains, be it photo, video, or physical is always lost sending him right back to square one.

Kiki Sloppysocks, age 10, is obsessive like Captain Ahab, short tempered and self righteous like John Goodman from “The Big Lebowski”, and a paranoid conspiracy nut like Dale Gribble from “King of the Hill”. Kiki is a renegade loner that possesses a savant-like knowledge of everything paranormal. He’s a short fat asthmatic Latino kid with a penchant for slobbery who doesn’t like wearing shoes. Instead he chooses to run around in the nastiest, crustiest, and smelliest tube socks everywhere he goes saying, “I prefer comfort over style!”

1.THE CASE OF THE LAKE LAGO LIGHTS.
Kiki camps out in the woods to investigate the mysterious lights over Lake Lago which he suspects to be a U.F.O. He is determined to photograph the anomaly at any cost. Late that night, much to Kiki’s delight, the U.F.O. appears but a pesky little squirrel steals his camera thereby jeopardizing the investigation.

2. THE CASE OF THE ABOMINABLE SNOWMAN.
Kiki ventures to the Himalayas to investigate recent sightings of the Abominable Snowman. He gets lost and eventually succumbs to the brutal Himalayan wilderness. As he lays there freezing to death he is rescued and nursed back to health by none other than the Abominable Snowman. Kiki spends many days in the Snowman’s ice cave home and gets the interview of a lifetime. But when it is time for Kiki to go home, the lonely Snowman, having grown very attached, refuses to let Kiki leave!

3. THE CASE OF TUMBLEWEED GULCH
Kiki enters the ghost town of Tumbleweed Gulch to find out whether the rumors are true that it is haunted. His suspicions are confirmed when he encounters the ghostly townspeople who plead for his help. They explain that Tumbleweed Gulch is cursed and every full moon they must relive the terrible destruction of the town by the ghosts of the notorious Dalton Gang. They appoint Kiki as the sheriff to help save the town from the marauders and break the curse so that the citizens of Tumbleweed Gulch can rest in peace.

4. THE CASE OF THE McHUTCHINSON EFFECT
Kiki pays a visit to local crackpot scientist Dr. McHutchinson in order to see a demonstration of his Zero-Point Energy device that he claims can create free energy. The device malfunctions and zaps Kiki accidentally with a blast of Zero Point Energy. Kiki dismisses the doctor as a nut and goes home. The next morning Kiki wakes up and realizes that he has aged ten years. Apparently the Zero Point has caused Kiki to start aging at a hyper accelerated rate. Kiki must race against the clock and get back to Dr. McHutchinson before he dies of old age!
